Welcome to the June edition of TA Talk.
Tonight at the stroke of 12, nominations for this year's Australian Teacher Aide of the Year awards close, so if you are still to hit the submit button on your nomination, now is the time. Our team are poised and eager to start reading about the impact your outstanding education support staff and teams make to student learning and wellbeing. It has been another huge month with the delivery of a webinar to unpack the career stages and expectations within the Australian Standards for Paraprofessional Educators in Schools, a school trial of the Standards at St Joseph's Nudgee College, multiple consultations, a full day Standards workshop, and an ABC interview to top it off! Australian Teacher Aide Appreciation Week planning has also begun. We are excited to announce that Twinkl has partnered with us for a third year, and we will be featuring a story in an upcoming Twinkl magazine soon. Make sure you save the dates (28th August - 1 September), and start your in-school planning now! In this issue, we are appealing for your valuable input regarding 2024 webinar topics. Please take a quick few minutes to give us your thoughts, as this enables us to continue to deliver relevant professional learning each year. Happy holidays! We hope you are enjoying a relaxing time. Warm regards Stella and Mandy |
