ATAPS Partner School Membership, currently only available to Australian Teacher Aide member schools, is designed to support the successful implementation of the Australian Teaching Assistant Professional Standards in all school settings.

Member schools are invited to nominate their school leaders to participate in the ATAPS Partner School Leadership Course to learn how to use the standards framework to support the professional growth of their teaching assistants, and successfully implement ATAPS as part of the school's performance and professional growth framework.

On completion of the course, schools can elect to become an accredited ATAPS Partner School™ and display the  ATAPS Partner School™ badge on their website. Accreditation is conditional on meeting course requirements, and details will be provided upon membership.  

ATAPS Partner School Leadership Course Features

  • 2 x 3 hour live virtual workshops, presented over 2 consecutive days
  • 1 x 30 minute personalised follow up meeting with an ATA facilitator to demonstrate effective implementation of ATAPS 
  • ATAPS School Implementation Guide with information, resources and templates designed to facilitate the implementation process with staff 
  • On demand access to ATAPS workshop recordings
  • ATAPS Facilitator Certificate
  • ATAPS Partner School™ Accreditation
  • ATAPS Partner School™ Digital Badge
