Welcome to the November edition of TA Talk.
As you may know, November is our birthday month, and in this edition of TA Talk we would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our renewing schools and training organisations, and give a special shout out to the many professional learning champions that have been part of the ATA education community for the past 5 and 6 years.
Our mission is to enable educators to help students succeed, and we are truly grateful to be working with schools to help build the capability of teaching teams, through professional learning.
For a long time the team at ATA have wanted to give more, and through a global initiative, we have found a way to make an even greater impact through our membership, such as helping provide access to education for children all over the world.
We will tell you more about the impact of your membership in our December edition of TA Talk.
Thank you, also, to our webinar presenters who generously gave their time and shared their expertise this year. Our live events were highly popular and 1,190 educators participated in 2021.
If you loved our live events this year, you can read about some of the webinars we have scheduled for 2022, below.
As the school year draws to a close, we will be issuing our December newsletter early next month. We'll save the Christmasy bits for then. Meanwhile, stay safe and well.
Warm regards Mandy and Stella

UPDATE ON STANDARDS - STAGE 2
Since our last newsletter, we have welcomed several new schools and organisations to the Australian Standards for Paraprofessional Educators in Schools - Industry Reference Group (ASPES - IRG).
Currently, the IRG is providing feedback on the Standards that will make explicit what paraprofessional educators know and do, how they interact with others, and how they identify their own learning needs, within the corresponding domains.
We will share the outcomes early next year, and update you on where to next!

Amanda commented, I have done this. I didn't have wise words of wisdom or the power to help, just a listening and sympathetic ear. It impacted this child so much, that his behaviour changed whenever I worked with him.
