Introducing ATAPS – A performance and professional growth framework

Australian Teacher Aide is currently piloting the Australian Teaching Assistant Professional Standards (ATAPS) with schools around Australia.
Before the Standards are published in Semester II 2024, Stella Liliendal, Director and Co-founder of ATA, will demonstrate how teaching assistants can use the ATAPS framework to:
• Reflect on their practice
• Identify the skills needed to perform their role
• Set professional growth goals
The workshop activities are an opportunity to become familiar with the framework and get a head start on using ATAPS to support the performance and professional growth of teaching assistants prior to publication.
