Unpacking the Career Stages and Expectations in the Standards for Paraprofessional Educators
The recording of this webinar is available in the Professional Development library, under School Performance and Development
Since 2021, Australian Teacher Aide have collaborated with an Industry Reference Group (IRG) of leading educators, to develop the Australian Standards for Paraprofessional Educators in Schools.
Throughout this journey we have been consulting with all education sectors, and in September last year, we invited you to attend our first live web event on the Standards, and participate in the Have Your Say Survey.
As we get closer to publishing the Standards, we would once more like to invite you to join Mandy Bell and Stella Liliendal, Directors, and Co-founders of ATA, along with leading educators from the IRG to:
• gain insights into the four career stages for paraprofessional educators
• learn about the expectations for Professional Knowledge, Professional Practice, and Professional Engagement
• and provide feedback on the career stages and expectations.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the career stages and expectations in the Standards, and help ensure they represent the diverse and complex work of paraprofessional educators in Australian schools.
