Recognise a teacher aide or teacher aide team making a difference at your school
The Australian Teacher Aide of the Year awards are open to member and non-member schools from State, Catholic and Independent Schools, and offer a unique opportunity for schools to recognise teacher aides and teacher aide teams, who are making a significant contribution to the learning and wellbeing of students.
Last year, Rachel Hawkins from Monaro High School in New South Wales was named 2023 Australian Teacher Aide of the Year, and the Learning Enrichment Officers from West Moreton Anglican College, Queensland won the Team award.

Prizes
2024 Australian Teacher Aide of the Year will receive:

- a twelve-month school membership to Australian Teacher Aide
2024 Australian Teacher Aide Team of the Year will receive:
- an inscribed crystal plaque
- a personalised certificate for each team member
- a school certificate

2024 Australian Teacher Aide of the Year State Finalists will receive:
- an inscribed crystal plaque

Highly Commended Teams, Highly Commended Individuals and Nominees will receive a personalised certificate acknowledging their achievement.
All Winners, Finalists and Highly Commended awardees will be featured on our website.
** School membership is valued up to $1,620.00, depending on the size of the school. Winning schools that are already Australian Teacher Aide members will receive a complimentary renewal of their annual school membership.
