Have Your Say: Australian Standards for Paraprofessional Educators in Schools
The recording of this webinar is available in the Professional Development library, under School Performance and Development
At Australian Teacher Aide, we have been developing the Australian Standards for Paraprofessional Educators in Schools.
We believe that the standards will enable educators to work together more collaboratively, to develop expert teaching teams and improve the outcomes for students.
Since work on the Standards began in June 2021, we have been consulting with all education sectors, to ensure that the Standards represent the diverse and complex work of paraprofessional educators in all Australian schools.
In this webinar, Mandy Bell and Stella Liliendal, co-founders of ATA, will outline the consultation process to date, and present a progress update of the Standards.
We invite you to have your say, and participate in a series of polls about the descriptors of the Standards. Your feedback will assist us to validate the appropriate knowledge, practice and engagement for the Standards, at different levels.
